CONN ACOUSTIC STEEL-STRING GUITARS

KNOWN MODELS OF CONN ACOUSTIC GUITARS

Several models were produced--most in Japan and some in Korea, and several un-branded prototype models were made in the USA. Those prototypes are considered the rarest and most feature all solid woods and all but a few have no name-brand on them. Scroll down to see the STATS sheet below for any information on the known models, and known prototypes

PRICES (NEW PRICE, PAID BY OWNERS)

This is a new section, and there is very little information, because many who bought these new are now older and many do not use the internet or otherwise do not browse looking for the brand. If you have a Conn guitar that you bought new from a retail store or one that you purchased on a time payment lease from a elementary, middle, or high school, and you have your original invoice showing the price you paid, I would love to talk to you. Yours can be published in this section. Click on the model to see the actual invoice.

STATISTICS SHEET (copyright 2006-2018)

Attached here is an Excel spreadsheet with known specifications on the various models. Also included in one tab is an average selling-price sheet. Click on the below picture to see the spreadsheet. You can download a copy for your personal use. This is my personal work, so distribution or putting this information on any other web site is prohibited. Placing a link on any site and charging a fee to access it is also prohibited.  Although it is difficult to keep an ongoing and accurate listing of selling prices, I have done this for some time, but it is a daunting task to keep it up to date.  So when you consult pricing, you may be looking at 2-3 year-old data. Still it is a good guideline. Prices for Conn guitars has crept slowly upward over the past 10 years as the public has become aware of the good quality of these guitars.

This is a link to an Excel 97-2003 spreadsheet containing stats and selling prices. Click to open or save it.
